Terms of Service

The basic rules for using Page Race, in plain words.

What this is

Page Race is a reading log for a class. You join a class, add the books you have finished, and see a monthly leaderboard of pages read. By using it you agree to these terms.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself and give us accurate information. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

What we expect from you

Log books you have really read, and be honest about page counts. Do not use the service to harass others, post anything unlawful or offensive, try to break or overload it, or access other people’s accounts.

What you can expect from us

We will do our best to keep Page Race running and your reading records safe. It is provided as is, with no promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes, and we may change or stop it at any time.

Your content

The book titles and page counts you add stay yours. You let us store them and show them to the other members of your class so the leaderboard works.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service whenever you like. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses from using the service.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms; continuing to use the service means you accept the updated version. If anything here is unclear, contact the person who runs your class on the service.
